The Socialist Hall is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places described as "one of the few socialist halls remaining in the United States. Erected in 1916, when the Socialist movement was strong in the city, it was active for only a few years until socialism fell out of favor amidst persecution of socialists and labor unionists including the Anaconda Road Massacre and the lynching of Frank Little. During its brief time of service, the Industrial Workers of the World met here."
What do developers have in store for this historic building?
Coming soon, a couple of Harrison Avenue storefronts on the first floor and high-end apartments on the upper level. According to plans, the first storefront will be 638 square feet with the second at 848 square feet and will be priced at $1550 and $2046 per month, respectively.
