The Mother Lode Theatre is continuing upgrades to the theatre stage components with the 2023 Winspire Raffle. This year's raffle will fund new stage curtains and valances which have not been replaced since the theatre was renovated in the early 1990s
One big means of the CPR's funding is the annual "Dust to Dazzle" tour which features different historic Butte buildings, once in a state of disrepair, now restored and beautiful. This year's event will take place on June 24 from noon to 5pm.
The 2023 schedule has been rolled out for Cruise Nite here in the Mining City and it looks like it's going to be a very good year! Cruise Nites again will fall on Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8pm and will generally follow an every-other-week schedule. Carolyn Cornelius is organizing the upcoming two-night Spay and Neuter Task Force fundraiser which will be held at the Elks on Thursday, July 22 and Friday, July 23. Thursday will be a Spaghetti and Chicken fundraiser dinner and thanks to a generous donation from Mike Thatcher of Community, Counseling and Corrections, Inc., Cornelius is planning on hosting residents of the Southwest Montana Veteran's Home free of charge. But it will take some help from the community
