If you want to see a band on the rise, now is the time to see local trio Juniper Creek.  In fact, many of you probably did over the weekend where they delighted the crowd Sunday afternoon on the Montana Traditions stage at the Montana Folk Festival.  Now while such billing would be the highlight of many musicians' entire careers, for Juniper Creek it was just one big day of a very exciting week.  Juniper Creek has just released their first EP a couple of days ago and are set to headline Lunch in the Park this Wednesday.

You can bet you will hear original selections from their new EP as well as their unique covers of many more at Emma Park on Wednesday as they are scheduled to go on at 11:30am.  Bring your picnic blankets, your lawn chairs and your appetites as the fine folks from Bissful Berry Bowls are expected as well as, Charee's Thai Food, Rockin' MT Big Sky West Mex, Blissful Berry Bowls, 406 Fresh and Extra Sprinkles.  Guests are always welcomed to bring their own lunch as well, whether from home or one of the many nearby restaurants.  And with the hot temperatures you can all but be assured that Selena Pankovich from the M&M will be bringing the popular foam machine out for the children.

A big thank you as always to the people who put a lot of time and effort into making Lunch in the Park such a fun weekly event in the community including Ed Heard, Bob Lazzari, Cathy Tutty, Karen Corbin, J.P. Gallagher, Philip Borup, Keegan McCarthy, Chuck Merrifield, Ristene Hall and the many others whose names I am missing,
