Pinky and the Floyd have been performing together since 2008 and have been called the best Pink Floyd tribute band in the northwest and have gathered quite the following all across Big Sky country. Showtime is 7pm this Saturday night and tickets can be purchased for this show alone or as part of the entire Montana Music Series which features upcoming shows by Rob Quist and Great Northern with special guest Halliday Quist and Wylie and the Wild West with special guest Erik "Fingers" Ray. Discounted hotel rates are also available for Mother Lode patrons.

It seems like just yesterday we were welcoming back the food vendors, the foam machine, the big stage with Andy Larson and, of course, the big crowds that have been commonplace at Music on Main events every Thursday throughout the summer. And here we are at the final event. But what an event it is going to be. As in years past, Missoula's hot country band ShoDown will be the musical guest and these guys are the closers for a reason. They are one of the top bands in the Northwest and have become a favorite of many here in Butte.

The Mavericks, probably best known for 90s hits such as "What A Crying Shame", "All You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down" and "Dance the Night Away" have set October 17 for the date of their show at Missoula's historic Wilma Theater.
