We are under two weeks until the big day.  Okay, we're considerably less than two weeks from Christmas and find ourselves smack-dab in the heart of the Holiday shopping season.  Are you still looking for that perfect present or are you stumped at the thought of buying something for that "hard-to-buy-for" individual.  Or maybe you're just looking for a present that is representative of the Mining City.  Well, we just heard from Stephanie Sorini of the Butte Chamber of Commerce, and she let us know that there are some incredibly cool Butte-related items and gift baskets that are for sale right now and could be just what you've been looking for.

At the Chamber of Commerce at 1000 George Street you will find premade gift baskets which are made up of items purchased from and supporting Butte businesses.  And there are some vert cool baskets that are ready to go out the door right now but if you don't see one that strikes your fancy, custom baskets can be made as well.  And they've got you covered as far as stocking stuffers go, too.  Custom-made Butte soaps.  Copper-wrapped stemless wine glasses.  Of course, ornaments, mugs, popcorn and candy and even socks and copper bar items are available right now at the Chamber of Commerce.

Sorini reminds us that there are some very easy ways to support Butte businesses this Holiday season, and it all begins with shopping locally.  Stop by some of Butte's smaller businesses or ones that you may not usually frequent and if you don't find a particular item, buy a gift card.  When you do find that perfect item, share the news with your friends on social media or write a positive review on the business' page.  That small act can make all the difference in the world.  And remember to thank your local merchants for all that they do, especially during this hectic time of year.
