Here’s a look at Butte High and Butte Central’s sports schedules for this week

We are at the end of the Spring sports season as the final games, matches and meets take place before the postseason begins.  Here is what Butte High and Butte Central have on tap.

TUESDAY, MAY 7

There will be plenty of action in Butte with the Butte Intrasquad Track Meet taking place at Bulldog Memorial Stadium at 3pm.  The Bulldog baseball team will be home at 3 Legends Stadium to face the Florence-Carlton Falcons, varsity at 3pm, JVs at 6pm.  Butte High's tennis team will be on the road facing the Missoula Big Sky Eagles at 1pm.  Butte High's softball team had been scheduled to travel to the Gallatin Valley to face the Bozeman Hawks, but that game has been cancelled.  The Butte Central softball team will be at Dillon with the varsity game at 3pm and the JVs to follow at 4pm.  The Maroons baseball team will be playing in Stevensville, the varsity game at 4pm and the JVs at 6pm.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 8

Butte High's softball team will be hosting Bozeman-Gallatin at Stodden Park #1, varsity at 2pm and JVs at 4pm.  The Bulldog baseball team is also back in action, hosting the Stevensville Yellowjackets, varsity at 3pm and JVs at 5pm.

THURSDAY, MAY 9

Butte Central will wrap up their 2024 baseball season at East Helena, varsity at 3pm and JVs at 5pm.

FRIDAY, MAY 10

In tennis, Butte-MBS will be at Helena with matches starting at 10am. Butte High's softball team plays at Missoula Sentinel, JVs at 3pm and varsities at 5pm.  Butte Central's softball team will be hosting the Laverne Combo Invitational and will face Columbus at 12pm, Libby at 3:30pm and Frenchtown at 7pm, all games on Stodden Field #2.

SATURDAY, MAY 11

Butte High's baseball team will be involved in a play-in game, location and time to be determined.  The Laverne Combo Invitational continues with the Butte Central Maroons facing Custer Co. at 12:30pm and Stevensville at 4pm at Stodden #2.  The Maroons tennis team will host Stevensville on the other side of Stodden Park at 10am while the Track and Field team will be in Livingston.
