On the women’s side, the top 3 teams ran away with their respective games. Rocky took down Providence at home 61-44, Carroll stormed into the Armory and rolled Northern 59-36, and last but not least, the Bulldogs of UM Western put together a solid 40 minutes in Butte to walk away with a 71-47 win.

The women’s side of the equation started with 3 teams ranked in the top 30. Carroll College the highest at #9 in the country, Western at #21, and Rocky Mountain College at #29.
Montana Tech will travel to Billings to take on the Battlin' Bears of Rocky Mountain college in a pivotal conference game. This will be the 135th meeting between the two programs.
