We stroll into a Monday, with another crazy week of Frontier Conference basketball behind us.

The #12 Montana Tech men stretched their winning streak out to 9 straight games with a 78-55 win over Rocky Mountain College in Billings last night. The win last night was also the 14th straight win for the Orediggers over the Battlin Bears, dating back to February 22, 2019.

Montana Tech enters this week’s play, with momentum. The ladies played so incredibly hard, and it showed on the scoreboard.

Frontier conference play continues Saturday for Montana Tech as the Argos of Providence come to town.

On February 28, 2022, the Orediggers won the Frontier Conference Tournament championship with a 62-61 win over Carroll College in the Carroll P.E. Center. It's been a long 318 days for Carroll fans.

The Lady Saints have won the last 17 meetings between the two. Montana Tech’s last win over Carroll was a 78-64 Frontier tournament contest on February 28, 2017. As of the last coaches poll, Carroll is ranked #11 in the country.

The Frontier Conference landed 9 players total on the AFCA Coaches’ All-America Team, 3 First Team, 1 Second Team, and 5 Honorable Mentions.

5 of the 6 Frontier Conference men's teams will head south this week. The men’s side of the Cactus Classic gets underway in Chandler, Arizona this Friday. The women’s games get rolling on Tuesday.
