Montana Restaurant Nominated For Best in America

A restaurant in Montana that opened in 2023 is already earning a reputation for being the best restaurant in the state, but Montana residents are the only ones that have taken noticed. The restaurant has also earned a nomination for being the best new restaurant in the entire country.

Keeping track of all of the new restaurants opening in Montana can be exhausting. With so many people moving to the state, it seems like there's a new restaurant opening every week. It's not often that a restaurant opening in Montana garners national attention, but a restaurant that recently opened in Bozeman is getting its time in the spotlight.

Montana Restaurant Nominated For America's Best New Restaurant

Montana is quickly becoming a paradise for foodies, and Shan in Bozeman has a lot of people talking. The Asian fusion restaurant opened in 2023, and has since become one of the city's top restaurants. The restaurant is the result of 20 years of eating and cooking across Asia. Shan was recently named a finalist in the "Best New Restaurant" category by the James Beard Foundation.

Shan is owned by Jarrett Wrisley and Candice Lin. In 2021, the pair closed their restaurant in Bangkok and swore off restaurants. After visiting Bozeman on a road trip, the couple fell in love with the area and decided to give the restaurant business another go.
