Help the Twin Bridges Robotics Team Represent Montana in DC
It's a long way to get from Twin Bridges, Montana to Washington, DC but to compete with the best, you have to work. Work is not a problem for an exceptional group of local students who have been invited to represent the entire state of Montana and make the trip from Twin Brides to Washington DC for the first annual FIRST Robotics Governors' Cup which brings together student teams from across the country to celebrate innovation, leadership, and hands-on STEM learning.
STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and mathematics and the crew from Twin Bridges, who go by the team name Identity Crisis, are young experts already but as students in rural Montana, this opportunity goes far beyond robotics as it represents exposure to new places, new ideas and possible future careers.
Identity Crisis, their teachers, families and community are relying on support from not only Southwest Montana but the entire state as they look to raise the necessary $15,000 to help cover airfare, lodging and meals for the team. The biggest barrier to participation for these eager youngsters is, by far, transportation. Identity Crisis wants to thank all who have donated so far and ask you to consider a small donation to help further their cause. Every donation no matter the size directly supports student learning, teamwork and confidence.
HERE'S HOW TO DONATE
The easiest way is by hitting up their gofundme page. If you would instead like to donate via check, please make payable to Twin Bridges School and write "robotics" on the memo line. Checks can either be dropped off at Twin Bridges School or mailed to P.O. Box 419, Twin Bridge, MT 59754.
