There is a definite connection between Team UpTop and the Butte High Bulldogs as many of the current players in purple and white were wearing the colors of Team UpTop just a few years ago.  Team UpTop was established in 2020, originally for 6th through 8th-grade boys.  It is a program that does not cut players.  In fact, scholarships are even available for qualifying kids whose families cannot afford the cost of travel basketball.  Today, the program has expanded to include boys and girls and they now start 'em out in the 4th grade.
