Oredigger Men and Women Hoops back home this weekend

After a successful weekend with both the men's and women's basketball teams posting consecutive blowout wins over Dickenson State and Bismarck State, the Montana Tech Orediggers have another weekend of home contests as the race for the regular season title and tournament seedings tightens.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 13TH - OREDIGGERS VS. BELLEVUE

The Bellevue (Nebraska) Bears will come into the friendly confines of Valley Bank Arena on Friday.  The Oredigger women come into the weekend at 18-4 overall with a 14-4 mark in the Frontier Conference while the Bellevue women are  9-14 and 5-13. Montana Tech is presently ranked #13 in the latest NAIA coaches' poll Montana Tech beat Bellevue 73-57 back on January 17th in Bellevue.

The Montana Tech men are 18-6 overall, 14-6 in the Frontier and are ranked #20 in the latest NAIA coaches' poll.  The Digger men have revenge on their minds as they were turned back in Bellevue on January 17th 62-67.  The Bellevue men are 19-5 overall, 15-4 in conference play.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 14TH - OREDIGGERS VS. DAKOTA STATE

The Dakota State Trojans come to town on Saturday with the women sitting at #7 in the national rankings sporting an overall record of 21-3, 16-2 in league play.  The Trojans beat the Orediggers 73-56 on January 16th in Madison, South Dakota.

The Dakota State men are 16-7 overall, 11-7 in the Frontier Conference and were beaten by a bucket, 68-66, on January 16th at home.

Gametimes for both Friday and Saturday are 5pm for the women and 7pm for the men at Valley Bank Arena inside the HPER Complex at Montana Tech.  Tickets and further details can be found online at godiggers.com.
