The award-winning comedian will bring his ‘Worst Daddy in the World Tour” to The Elm in Bozeman on October 18th, and then to the Wilma in Missoula on October 19th.

David Cross is one of those performers, that the more you dig into his career, the more you realize how much he has been involved in. He is an Emmy Award winner for his work on the Ben Stiller Show. He has 3 Emmy Nominations for his series Mr. Show, and he was part of that amazing cast on Arrested Development that stacked up as many awards as they produced episodes.

The first mental image I come up with when I think of David Cross is of his character Tobias on Arrested Development, dyed blue from head to toe, wanting to join the Blue Man Group.. Classic.

David started performing stand-up the day after he graduated from High School in Georgia. In the early 90s he was part of an emerging comedy scene that included Janeane Garafalo, and Louis C.K. This lead to him forming his first sketch comedy group called “Cross Comedy” with 12 other performers that put on new sketch shows every week.

Cross has several comedy specials on different streaming services, his first was in 1999 for HBO called The Pride is Back. He also has released five comedy albums, two of which were nominated for Grammy’s, in the best Comedy Album category.
