Orediggers, Rotary Club Set Young Women’s Basketball Skills Camp for December 19th
Montana Tech and the Butte Rotary Club are excited to announce the Peggy Sarsfield Young Women's Basketball Skills Camp that is set for December 19th at the Montana Tech HPER Complex. The camp is open to young basketball players in the 1st through 6th grades and will be conducted by the Montana Tech Women's Basketball Team and coaching staff.

Butte is legendary for producing some of the finest women's basketball players in the state, from Meg Murphy to Lexi Nelson to current Oredigger Brooke Badovinac and for young players eager to learn, there may be no better contingent than this years' Orediggers. The team is the first in school history to be ranked in the NAIA Top 25 poll and this is due in no small part to Coach Jeff Graham whose teachings brought multiple state championships to the small community of Belt before he made the decision to come to Butte. Coach Graham is now 4 years into a career that has made steady and solid improvements and now ranks among the nation's best due to fundamentals, teamwork, defense and, believe it or not, fun. Not only are the Orediggers ranked, but finally it looks like they are having a good time on the court.
Camp for 1st through 3rd graders will run from 1:30 until 3pm with 4th through 6th graders to follow from 3:30 until 5pm. The registration fee is $20 and will include a camp t-shirt. Get your little one signed up here. If you are part of a business or organization that would like to get your logo on the t-shirt or support in other ways, please contact the Butte Rotary Club at rcofbutte@gmail.com or Coach Frankie Bignell at mbignell@mtech.edu.
