We told you a few weeks back about the planning that is going into what is shaping up to be one heckuva party.  "Prom Through the Decades" is the theme for the big spring fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Butte set for April 1 at the Star Lanes Event Center and tickets are going fast.  Faster than we thought.  In fact, only 89 tickets remain on sale for the shindig whose size and scope keep growing.

One of Butte's true personalities, Chris Fisk, has been announced as the emcee for the event which will include live music from High Ore Road as well as appetizers from 406 Fresh!. There will be silent and Dutch auctions taking place and they will also draw for their gift baskets which are elaborate.  Raffle tickets are $30 each or $50 for two and are available at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Butte's office in the Executive Village on Front Street or even by Venmo at Venmo@BBBSButte.  Tickets sales will be limited to 1000.  What can you win?

Well, included in the BBQ Package, for example, are a six-burner gas grill with a 20-pound propane tank, an "ultimate barbecue package" from Riley's Meats, a $50 gift certificate to Western Meat and Sausage Block, a 10-pound grilling package from Excelsior Meats as well as handcrafted chairs, an Olivelle basket, grilling tools and a beverage basket from Mile High Beverages.  And that's just the grilling package.  There is also a Date Nite Getaway Package, a Staycation Package, a Murder Mystery Night package and a Virginia City Vacation.
