Living here in Butte, people think that their only options are to go to a restaurant, a bar, or a casino. I've made it my personal mission to dissuade those who feel this way and to inform the greater region beyond Butte that we in fact do have a ton of cool stuff going on every weekend.

Butte Blues and Copper City Kings Alumni Game

When: Friday, December 13th, 2024 at 7:30pm

Where: Butte Community Ice Center (1700 Wall St, Butte, MT 59701)

What: "Alumni game featuring the Butte Blues and Copper City Kings against the current Copper City Kings High School team. Open to all alumni who played for either team, with a $50 registration fee that can be sponsored." Find all information here.

The Brewery Follies "Twistmas in December"

When: Friday, December 13th, 2024, at 8:00pm

Where: Butte Elks Lodge 240 (206 W Galena St, Butte, MT 59701)

What: "The Elks Lodge 240 will be open on Thursday, the 12th from 12:30-5:00 to pick up or buy tickets for the show. This is the WILD and CRAZY Super Fun Crew from the Brewery Follies out of Virginia City, Montana will make you laugh your socks off Friday, December 13th and Saturday, December 14th at the Butte Elks Lodge 240. Get your tickets before they SELL OUT!!

24th Annual Butte Ice Carving Contest

When: Saturday, December 14th, 2024 at 9:00am

Where: Uptown Butte (60 W Park St, Butte, MT 59701)

Price: Free

What: "SPONSORSHIP:
Sponsors should provide their own carver(s). There is a small pool of volunteer carvers that will be placed at locations by request
or in the order in which entries were received. Sponsors can have more than one entry. Entries can be either single or multiple ice
blocks.

DISPLAY:
Sponsors may use their own stand/table, but stands are available by the organizers. Organizers will prepare signage and post the
name of the sponsor and names of the carver (s) in each location as well as post a map online to share on social media." Find all information here.

Holiday Cheer Extravaganza

When: Saturday, December 14th, 2024, at 6:30pm

Where: Shenanigans Bar and Casino (1000 S Excelsior Ave, Butte, MT 59701)

Price: N/A

What: "Dress up in your favorite Holiday attire and win cash prizes for the Best and the Worst. Kellie Johnson-Mead will be entertaining with Karaoke. Karaoke isn't for everyone, but it's a lot fun when everyone's involved." Find all information here.

What: "Let the Elks do all the cooking! We will be serving pancakes, eggs, sausage or bacon, coffee or juice all for only $10!
