If the turnout the past several weeks is any indicator, this Thursday night's "Music on Main" event is going to be a big one. Coupled with a favorable forecast and one of Butte's most popular bands and you've got something. Add one of Montana's premiere guitar players to the mix and it adds up to an evening of great music, food and fun that you will want to come early for.

After last night's incredible 3 Doors Down/Candlebox show last night at turned the Great Falls Voyagers home into a temporary rock house, the folks from the Newberry certainly proved that they know how to throw a party. What the rest of the state is finding out though, is that there are several more big parties coming their way in the near and not-too-distant future and that the Newberry is a great place to catch a show, particularly if you're a fan of Country Music. The Montana Folk Festival will take over Uptown Butte this weekend with over 100,000 music lovers, artists, performers and vendors taking part in what has become the biggest festival of the summer in a city becoming well known for festivals.
