A trip to Georgetown Lake for dinner and other activities is an excellent idea for the whole family. Now, when it comes to Valentine's Day on Tuesday or leading into next weekend, make Georgetown a destination exclusively for you and your sweetheart. If you can swing the day off on February 14th, take your sweetie for a full or half day of skiing at Discovery Ski Area (180 Discovery Basin Rd, Anaconda). Plus, for avid snowmobilers, enduring the many groomed trails around Georgetown Lake with that special someone and other couples (recommended) is always exhilarating!
On endless occasions, the Anaconda Fire Department has come to the community's rescue. Now it's time to show gratitude for their services by supporting their upcoming and first-ever Firefighters Ball! The event set for Saturday, February 25th, at the Anaconda Elks Lodge (#239) is an effort to support their benevolent fund...
All families have different entrees that garnish their tables during the holiday season. What might be traditional to one family may not be to another. Dinner entrees and dishes such as turkey, prime rib, ham, pasta, asparagus, green beans, broccoli, and sweet potatoes were standard choices for our family growing up. However, if it were up to my adult children, they would list SWEET POTATOES as their number one pick OVER any meat entree or green vegetable. Technically, my girls have been heck-bent on "sweet potatoes this and sweet potatoes that" since they were five years old, every holiday, and basically any time of the year. My son, however, the oldest of the bunch, definitely leans more towards the carnivore and greens aspect of grazing during the holiday and probably wouldn't even notice if sweet potatoes were on the table.

In life, nobody agrees 100% across the board. While some people agree on politics the same group might not see eye to eye on music, movies, sports and most of all...PIZZA! Deep dish maybe, but not a deep topic, right? Seriously though, it's easy to say that we get a little bottom sore when friends and family members don't agree with the toppings we choose for our beloved pizzas. Then there's the case of being a closet pizza lover, who will only add and enjoy their bizarre pizza toppings in the comfort of their homes.
