Butte High Bulldogs

The Butte High Bulldogs football team is in the playoffs and hosting a first-round contest on Friday. But first, there are some volleyball matches to deal with. Here is a look at this week's Butte High and Butte Central activities schedule for this week as we are at or near the end of the fall semester's regular season.

Today we officially end the preseason and work towards the first games, matches and meets of the season. And the Bulldogs are going big. This afternoon and through the evening the Butte Bulldogs will be putting late summer practices to the test as the football team hosts the annual Purple and White scrimmage, the cross country team puts on their varsity time trial, the volleyball team holds intrasquad scrimmages and both boys and girls soccer teams will scrimmage. In addition to the scrimmages, the Butte Athletic Council invites you to a complimentary barbecue starting at 5pm at Naranche Stadium.

Butte High's freshman phenom Hudson Luedtke had 21 points and sophomore Dylan Bache came off the bench to add a dozen as the Butte High Bulldogs pounded their way to a 67-56 Western AA victory over Missoula Sentinel Friday night at Ross J. Richardson gymnasium,
