I consider myself a foodie, and jokingly refer to myself as a "Large American." I need to go to the gym, but I'd rather eat at a great restaurant instead. I enjoy trying new places and try to stay up-to-date on what's happening in Bozeman.

I recently stopped into Hugkan for lunch. It's a small place located at 33 S. Willson in downtown Bozeman. I was hungry and wanted something light for lunch, and sushi sounded good. I ordered the A2 roll and a lunch special that includes a few extra pieces. I was blown away by how fresh everything was, especially since there aren't any oceans nearby.
In addition to the surprisingly fresh sushi, the service was outstanding. I'll be having lunch there again soon for sure. If you're craving sushi in Bozeman, you have plenty of options. There's Hooked, Seven, Dave's Sushi, Hachi Sushi Pub, Wasabi Japanese Steak House, and Izakaya Three Fish.
Have you tried any new restaurants lately? Is there something that I need to try? Send me a message on our radio station app and let me know about it.
