The truth is, you either believe in ghosts or you don't.

I've seen a ghost or two, so I'm a believer, but many continue to dismiss the idea that there are things from the other side creeping around us. Here in Montana, there are numerous places considered to be haunted, including Virginia City, Bannack, and several hotels.

But what about other haunted places? Churches? Graveyards? Schools?

According to multiple sources, when it comes to one of the most haunted places in Montana, it just so happens to be located in Missoula. Before we reveal the location, check out some of the most haunted places in Big Sky Country.

What's the most haunted school in Montana?

According to several sources, including the Kaimin Paranormal Investigative Team, the most haunted school in the Treasure State is the University of Montana in Missoula.

It is rumored that multiple buildings on campus have paranormal activity that takes place, including both Brantly and Rankin Hall, with several stories talking of a female ghost along with a canine in Brantly Hall. Of course, there are also the rumors of the "Phantom Class" which takes place on the 2nd floor of Rankin Hall.

I'm not sure the back story on this, but I'm sure it is an interesting one, and if I were a betting man, I would say there is probably more than one.
