Grand Opening Of Big Name Store In Bozeman
It’s not every day we get a brand-new store opening here in Bozeman, Montana. Much less a full-blown renovation of one of the busiest shopping centers in town. That’s why the Gallatin Crossing makeover has everyone buzzing. We’ve all watched the construction for months, wondering what would come next and when more openings will start. Well, it looks like we finally have an answer for at least one of the stores, and it's a good one. Free People is officially opening it's doors, marking their very first store in the entire state of Montana.
Bozeman, the wait is almost over. Free People is hosting a preview event Today, October 30, from 4 to 7 p.m. Guests can enjoy cocktails, mocktails, a hat bar, and more before the store opens to the public on Friday, October 31. Sounds like the perfect excuse to check out the new space. You can RSVP to the party HERE.
This opening is all part of the massive $100 million redevelopment project transforming the old Gallatin Valley Mall into Gallatin Crossing. It is Bozeman’s newest retail hotspot. Over the past year, we’ve already seen big names like Whole Foods, Sephora, and Lululemon set up shop. And coming soon? Madewell, Anthropologie, and Arhaus, plus local favorites like City Vineyard for those who prefer wine to window shopping.

The revamped space is designed with that downtown Bozeman feel in mind. It has walkable streets, outdoor spaces, and a mix of retail and healthcare that’s shaping up to be a one-stop destination for locals and visitors alike.
So, whether you’re in it for fashion, food, or just some fresh scenery, Gallatin Crossing is giving Bozeman something to get excited about.
