When it comes to giving, Montana is a very generous state.

I've lived all over the country and never seen people as generous or as many non-profits as we have here in Montana. Because of the number of different charities and organizations, choosing who to give to and what to support can sometimes be difficult.

For many, it could be conservation that is their passion, for others, it's supporting our veterans. Many Montanans want to make sure that kids and animals are taken care of, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

One of the wonderful organizations here in Montana that is making a difference everyday is Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Big Sky Country. Recently, I had the chance to attend a Gala and learn more about what the organization does and just how much help they give kids in our area and across Montana.

For many youth in our community, they are missing that mentor in their life. Someone who can help them make and reach goals, while giving them guidance along the way.

While becoming a Big Brother or Big Sister is a fantastic way to give back, the organization is also having a fun fundraiser in both Bozeman and Livingston that will help raise money to fund the program.

Bowling For Kids Sake is coming to both Bozeman and Livingston and this is a perfect way to not only help out Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Big Sky Country, but have some fun while doing it.

The event will take place in Livingston on Friday, April 25th, at Treasure Lanes and in Bozeman on Friday, May 16th, at The Bowl.
