So, I need to start by saying, I love live music.

There is very little I enjoy more than loading up and heading out for a show with my bride. The number of shows we are able to attend has gone up exponentially because of Logjam Promotions. Their venues are nothing short of incredible. the work they have put into each of the locations is crazy, from the remodel of the Top Hat and the Wilma to the design and construction of the Kettlehouse Amphitheater and The Elm. Each offers a unique concert experience.

Some of my more-memorable shows have been The White Buffalo, at the Top Hat. We have been lucky enough to see them on several different occasions, and they are truly one of my favorite bands to see live. If you have never heard of them, there is a real solid chance you have heard them. Their music was used extensively in several TV Series that relied on music to help tell the story, like Sons of Anarchy, The Punisher, and This Is Us. Seeing the shows that used their music, you can get an idea of what kind of music they play.
Is it Country? Yea, kind of.
Is it Folk? Yea, they are that as well.
Is it Rock? Hell yes..

Like a lot of great musicians, I don’t think you can file them under one genre of music and call it a day.

The one thing I can tell you is you will not find their energy lacking, they put on one hell of a live show. I’ll give you a couple of videos to get you a bit familiar, but the Buffalo is a ‘live band’, their albums are awesome, but you must experience their live shows. Period. My best example of that is their song “The Pilot”, outstanding song on the album, but one of my all-time favorite songs to see live. (That list currently is: All My Life- Foo Fighters, Corduroy- Pearl Jam, Sowing Season- Brand New, Skinny Love- Bon Iver, and The Pilot- White Buffalo)

Hopefully we see you at The Wilma in Missoula on the 9th (tickets HERE)
or The Elm in Bozeman on the 10th. (Tickets HERE)
And Remember we have tickets to give away on 92.5 KAAR FM in the mornings as well!
