Santa Set to Make His Usual Stops Tonight in Uptown Butte, the Flats, Goosetown & More…
As long as kids across Southwest Montana secured a letter in the mail to Santa or at least told their parents, aunts, teachers, or siblings their desired wish list, then it's certain that Ol' St. Nick has "gotten word" and will be making a trip to their homes in record time late this evening with many presents in hand. Even if "stockings aren't hung by the chimney with care," Santa will definitely be making his rounds, especially since he knows not everyone has a chimney. He's magical that way and has his own system of ensuring each boy and girl receives something special this Christmas! They just have to believe! With a jolly laugh like his, you know he wants only the best for everyone on his list. Naughty or nice, Santa cares about each child around the globe and here in Southwest Montana!
Last year, Santa and his reindeer were apparently spotted flying over the Copper King Mansion in Uptown Butte, then later seen on the Flats. There were also sightings of Kris Kringle at Goosetown in Anaconda and Georgetown Lake near Eccleston's Bay. Strangely, it's rumored that he looped back toward Deer Lodge, Helena, and edged over to Ovando before making his way to Whitehall, Ennis, Dillon, Lima, and all Southwest Montana counties in between. Wow! That much back and forth has to be hard on Jolly St. Nick and his reindeer. Hopefully, families left out plenty of cookies and milk for Santa and special treats for his reindeer to make such a journey. Make sure to do the same tonight; leave out plenty of treats and maybe even some Pepto Bismol or some antacid chewables in the aftermath. Yes, to all believers in Southwest Montana and around the world, rest assured that SANTA IS ON HIS WAY TONIGHT IN THE SPIRIT OF GIVING! Happy Holidays!
