Spay/Neuter Task Force “Santa Paws” photo fundraiser coming December 7th & 8th
Of all of the great local charities and organizations we've had the privilege of getting to know over the years, one of the best is the Butte Spay and Neuter Task Force. This group is one of the hardest working organizations in town regardless of nonprofit status and the work they do, in addition to being invaluable, simply could not be done by anyone else.
The Spay and Neuter Task Force is the driving force behind maintaining a manageable pet population here in Southwest Montana. Although our pets are dearly loved, a litter of puppies or kittens here or there across town can quickly lead to problem numbers leading to a full shelter and worse, abandonment. The Spay and Neuter Task force realizes that low to moderate-level income households are the most likely to put off or avoid having their pets spayed or neutered, primarily because of the cost which can sometimes be prohibitive. They assist these households through free spay/neuter clinics which are put on throughout the year and also by providing $50 off spay/neuter procedures at local veterinary clinics to interested pet parents.
If you would like to help out the Spay and Neuter Task Force while also getting a holiday photo of your furry little family member, get to the Butte Plaza Mall on December 7th and 8th between 11am and 4pm for "Santa Paws", one of the Task Force's biggest fundraisers of the year. For $16 you will get two 5 x 7 photos of your pet with Santa. Please bring your pets on a leash or in a carrier.
