Even though Montana Tech Oredigger Football is coming off a Frontier Conference Championship and the first undefeated regular season in program history, the statistic that truly takes precedent is on the academic side.  Montana Tech is one of the premiere engineering and mining institutions in the nation with rigid academic standards and this season Coach Kyle Samson, Athletic Director Matt Stepan and company have placed 37 young men on the Frontier Conference's 2025 Academic All Conference Team.

In order to qualify for Academic All-Conference honors, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in standing and have a minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA.

    The Orediggers have received a bye in the first round of the NAIA National Playoffs and are awaiting results of the round to determine their first opponent.  The Orediggers will host that contest on November 29th.
