The Butte Civic Center will be the site of the 2025 Montana State C Combined Boys and Girls Basketball Tournament and there are several reasons some will argue that this is the best of Montana high school basketball.  The Class C State Tournament is very difficult for which to qualify.  The Montana High School Association lists 97 schools that began the season, only 8 of whose seasons are still alive after navigating a maze of district and divisional tournaments and even challenge games.

Some will say Class C ball is the purest form of the game with strategy and mismatches being as valuable as set plays and trapping defenses.  Few teams reach the Class C State Tournament on talent alone.  And when Class C teams go to State, they bring the whole town with them.

Welcome to Butte, all players, coaches, fans, officials and press.  Here is a look at this year's State C boys and girls' brackets.  Play will begin with the girls first round on Wednesday.
