On Wednesday evening we made our way to the Butte Depot at 818 S. Arizona and to be honest we weren't too sure of what to expect.  Any time you plan an event right before a major party like the Montana Folk Festival crowds tend to be a little thinner than they normally would be and the Folk Fest is about as big as they come here in the Mining City.  But man, did the Cruisers show up in full force.

What started out as an overcast evening turned into a clear evening of hot cars and trucks, some cool motorcycles and a parking lot party as local band High Ore Road provided the classic rock and country that turned into a bit of a jam session at the end of the night.

The Butte Depot was serving their Deluxe-style sandwiches which were a delicious hit.  On the upcoming concert side of things, the Depot is bringing the Tom Keifer Band and L.A. Guns to the Butte Civic Center on September 10th and we were there for the presale and we also gave away a pair of tickets to our Peoples' Choice Award winners.  Our voters certainly had an incredible lineup of classic cars, trucks and motorcycles to choose from.  Here are some that really stood out.
