Are you a leader in our community and are passionate about watching Butte grow and prosper?  Do you know someone who is?  The Butte Chamber of Commerce is looking to add members to their Board of Directors.  Are you a good fit?  The Butte Chamber of Commerce is what makes Butte's business community thrive, through networking, camaraderie and friendship.  Here's what the commitment entails.

Potential Board Members will attend monthly board meetings and are expected to attend and support Chamber events including fundraisers, networking events and annual meetings.  They will advocate for and promote the Chamber's mission to strengthen the local business community and to actively engage in strategic planning and policymaking to advance the goals of the Chamber.  Board Members are expected to fulfill financial obligations, such as annual membership dues and event sponsorships as well as assisting in securing resources, sponsorships or donations for the Chamber as needed.

If selected, the new Board Member will serve as a representative of the Chamber in the community, fostering positive relationships with members, businesses and other stakeholders.  They will also maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all matters related to the Chamber.  Members will participate in at least one Chamber committee or task force, contributing their time and expertise.  They will also assist in developing and evaluating strategies that promote economic development and align with the Chamber's long-term goals.

Terms are for 2 years with the option to serve for another 2.
