WACO, Texas -- Brandon Spencer is the 30th All-American in Montana Tech football history!

The Orediggers' senior center landed a spot on the American Football Coaches Association's NAIA All-America second team, the AFCA announced Wednesday.

Spencer, a business and information technology major from Lolo, anchored one of the most productive offensive lines in the NAIA in 2024. Under his leadership, Tech ranked in the NAIA's top 10 in scoring, rushing yards, yards per carry, yards per completion, first downs, third-down percentage, fourth-down percentage, and time of possession.

Spencer's honor marks the second-straight season an Oredigger earned AFCA All-America honors; punter Andrew Almos was a first-team selection in 2023.

Montana Tech finished the season with a 9-3 record and reached the NAIA Football Championship Series for the second-straight season.

The Orediggers earned the No. 7 seed in the national playoff and earned a first-round bye in the bracket. No. 10 Northwestern (Iowa) defeated the Diggers, 32-29, in the second round on November 30.
