What’s Going On This Weekend? Sept. 20th – 22nd ’24

BUTTE, MT - I see it all the time: people asking me, friends, Facebook, or even themselves what they want to do this weekend.

Living here in Butte, people think that their only options are to go to a restaurant, a bar, or a casino. I've made it my personal mission to dissuade those who feel this way and to inform the greater region beyond Butte that we in fact do have a ton of cool stuff going on every weekend.

Oktoberfest at Slainte

When: Friday, September 20th, 2024 at 5:00pm

Where: Slainte (8 S Montana St, Butte, MT 59701)

What: "Come hoist a stein this Friday from 5-8pm and get free swag while supplies last and have a chance to win a Signature Samuel Adams ceramic stein!

We have a men’s and women’s division and everyone who competes gets to choose some free swag while supplies last. The winner of each division will get their own Sam Adams Ceramic Stein." Find all information here.

Mojo Risin

What: "'Mojo Risin formed in 2022 with the goal of honoring and celebrating the music of The Doors. This Bozeman, MT based band is comprised of professional and passionate musicians and a front-man who embodies the soulful and mystic nature of Jim Morrison. From "Light My Fire" to "LA Woman" and everything in between, Mojo Risin’s live shows aim to recreate one of the most influential and controversial rock acts of the 1960’s. Butte Food Festival & Pasty Eating Contest

When: Saturday, September 21st, 2024, at 11:00am

What: "The Butte Food Festival is back for its 4th installment on September 21st! New to this event, we will be featuring a cocktail pasty eating contest at 2PM! Entry is free for the pasty eating contest but spaces are limited." Find all information here.

Where: Skyline Park

What: "Enjoyin' some snacks by the shore, singin' some sea shanties, searchin' for treasure in the forest, winin' prizes and above all, talkin' like a ruddy pirate!
We will have our usual treasure-hunting game with little prizes for the kids, and a prize for whoever does the best job of talkin' like a pirate!" Find all information here.

Symphony Guild Meeting

When: Sunday, September 22nd, 2024, at 4:00pm

Where: Saffron Mediterranean Restaurant (217 W Park, Butte, MT 59701)

What: "Thinking of joining the guild? Join us for the first meeting of the Butte Symphony's 75th season. We'll kick off planning receptions, fundraisers, and other events for the year.
